Chain conveyors can be used in agriculture and in the food and other industries for the horizontal or inclined transport of grains and other bulk materials. Note that with inclined transport (max. angle: 25°) the transport capacity is reduced.
Chain conveyors offer a better solution than other conveying equipment when transporting large amounts of materials, particularly if the space available for installing the conveyor is limited. For the same transport capacity, chain conveyors have a smaller cross-section than any other conveyor structure (e.g. belt conveyor).
A further advantage compared to other conveyor structures is that horizontal and inclined sections can be combined at will within one unit (with a single drive) and materials can be transported in both directions.
The material to be transported is usually fed into the intake opening of the conveyor using a continuous conveyor, or from a hopper. At the desired point, the transported material is discharged from the outlet into a storage container, processing machine, or some sort of conveyor structure.
We distribute products with a capacity of up to 700 tonnes/h – primarily products of German partners, but for smaller capacity requirements we can also offer Hungarian products.
