ALEX KFT. is a 100% privately owned mechanical engineering small enterprise established in Szolnok in 1991.
Our company is best known in Hungary and neighbouring regions, as a manufacturer and distributor of handling equipment for grain storage facilities, but our belt conveyors can also be found further afield – in Germany, Denmark, Ethiopia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Our main activities are the manufacturing of handling equipment – primarily belt conveyors – the distribution and installation of bucket elevators and transport augers, and the distribution of their parts.
In the recent period, we have been continuously developing our vehicle and machine fleets and expanded our site with new and modern buildings. Our new office and warehouse block constructed in 2017 greatly facilitates our daily activities. During their construction, we placed great emphasis on energy efficiency and environmental protection, which led us to install a heating system with a heat pump, as well as a solar panel system.
Beyond agriculture, our small enterprise with a staff of nearly 20 is extremely flexible in adapting to the challenges of diverse material handling tasks in industrial sectors as well. We have developed precise engineering solutions for the canning and wine industries, viticulture, timber, construction, paper, chemical and construction material industries, among others, as attested by many references. In recent years, we have placed great emphasis on improving our products so that they keep up with developments, since only this way we can retain our existing markets.
Our goal is to satisfy demand in Hungary as comprehensively as possible and to expand our export sales, for which further development of our production culture is necessary. This way, we can continuously improve our machines – a natural objective for a company planning for the long term.
