Buckets and Fasteners

We distribute primarily products of German manufacturers, but our offering also includes older Hungarian buckets.

Buckets can be made from steel or plastic of various material grades.

Steel buckets may be welded or deep drawn, made from stainless steel or coated in Teflon. They are produced with various wall thicknesses, with extra reinforcement for certain types. As a default, buckets feature concave holes.

Plastic buckets can be made from various materials, in various grades and sizes. They are also available in an antistatic version, of which we can issue a certificate.

The most common materials are:

• HDPE = high-density polyethylene, with high tensile strength. It is an excellent insulator, with low permeability to steam and gases. Good frost resistance (down to approx. -80 °C). Heat-resistant up to 60 °C. Excellent resistance to chemicals and resistance to all solvents at room temperature. It is resistant to diluted acid and alkaline solutions; concentrated acids (primarily nitric acid) will damage it at higher temperatures.
• Nylon: thermoplastic, with high tensile strength, and abrasion-resistant. Nylon has a good resistance to chemicals: it is only damaged by hot and concentrated acids and alkalis, with no reaction to organic solvents. Heat-resistant up to 90 °C.
• PU: hard, heavy-duty, and flexible with high tensile strength, abrasion-, shock-, water-, oil- and grease-resistant. Good electrical insulator, resistant to extreme temperatures, as well as to mould, mildew and fungi.
• Zytel: shock-resistant, glass fibre reinforced polyamide.

Certain basic types are sold with boreholes, others without – the latter can also be ordered with boreholes, if needed.

We can provide elevator bolts, curved/wood washers, and nuts in almost any size for buckets. Our product range includes elevator bolts with both smaller and larger heads (22/28/35 mm).

Products ordered can be collected from our site during business hours, but we can also deliver them through our partners, in which case the cost of shipping will depend on their dimensions and weight.
